Statement
My practice registers what is already present: pressure in material, frequency in space.
I work through repetition, distortion, and layering. Pigment, plywood, gravel, sound: each becomes a site where action is stored. Not as representation, but as fact.
Compression leaves a gradient. Abrasion leaves a scar. Electromagnetic fields modulate sound. Movement shapes frequency.
The work does not serve. It documents.
Vita
I work across visual art and sound, treating both as parallel practices grounded in action, repetition and material resistance.
My approach developed outside academic frameworks, through long-term independent work with surfaces, pressure and process-based methods. Rather than composing images or narratives, I focus on how form emerges under constraint through compression, abrasion and repeated physical engagement.
Periods of instability, displacement and reduced resources were not external to this practice but formative for it. They sharpened my attention to dependency, endurance and the conditions under which structure persists without support. These experiences informed a method in which material is not shaped freely, but negotiated through force, time and limitation.
Over time, this approach extended into sound and performance, where similar principles apply: repetition, duration, resistance and the registration of action. Visual and sonic works do not illustrate each other but operate as adjacent fields within the same inquiry.
